Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Dropley ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of these Terms, you may not access or use the Service. These Terms apply to all visitors, users, and others who access or use the Service.

Description of Service

Dropley allows users to upload ZIP archives and publishes them as hosted artifacts accessible at a unique, publicly available URL. The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis during its beta phase.

User Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for all content you upload to, store, or publish via the Service. You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have obtained all necessary rights and permissions to the content you upload.
  • Your content does not violate any applicable law, regulation, or third-party right.
  • Your use of the Service complies with our Acceptable Use Policy.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any artifact tokens or URLs associated with your uploads.

Prohibited Uses

You may not use the Service to upload, store, distribute, or otherwise make available:

  • Malware, viruses, worms, Trojan horses, ransomware, or any other malicious code.
  • Content used for phishing, social engineering, or other deceptive practices.
  • Illegal content, including content that violates any applicable law or regulation.
  • Content that infringes upon the intellectual property rights of any person or entity.
  • Content that constitutes hate speech, harassment, or threats of violence.
  • Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) or any content involving the exploitation of minors.

Intellectual Property

You retain all ownership and intellectual property rights to the content you upload to the Service. Dropley does not claim any ownership over your content.

By uploading content, you grant Dropley a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, reproduce, process, adapt, and publicly display your content solely for the purpose of operating, providing, and improving the Service. This license expires when your content is deleted from the Service.

The Dropley name, logo, and brand assets are the exclusive property of Dropley and may not be used without prior written permission.

Service Availability

During the beta period, the Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without any uptime guarantee. We strive to maintain high availability but do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure, or error-free.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the Service (or any part thereof) at any time with or without notice.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Dropley and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, loss of profits, service interruption, or unauthorized access to or alteration of your content, arising out of or in connection with your use of the Service.

Dropley's total liability for any claims arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by you, if any, for accessing the Service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, without prior notice or liability, for any reason, including but not limited to:

  • Violation of these Terms or our Acceptable Use Policy.
  • Conduct that we determine, in our sole discretion, is harmful to the Service or other users.
  • Requests by law enforcement or government agencies.
  • Technical or security issues.

Upon termination, your uploaded content may be deleted from the Service. We are not obligated to return or provide copies of your content after termination.

Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the courts located in San Francisco, California.

Changes to Terms

We may revise these Terms at any time by posting the updated version on this page. Material changes will be communicated by updating the "updated" date at the top of these Terms. Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
